| Army school Samba celebrates annual day | | | Early Times Report

A grand function was organized by Army school Samba at Basanter Auditorum to celebrate its eleventh Annual day. The chairman of the school Brig Rakesh Chhibber was the chief gust and Madhu Chhibber was the guest of honour on the occasion. The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Mrs Madhu Chhibber.
As per a press release the principal read out the annual report highilighting the achievement of the school in cacademics, co-curriculsar and sporets activites. The students enthralled the audience by presenting a coloruful cultural programme which included dances, skits, orchestra etc. the guest of honour, Madhu Chhibber gave away the prize to the winners of co-curricular activities and academics for the year. Gandhi house bagged the best house trophy while Nehru house was adjudged the runner up house for the year. Brig Rakesh Chhiber,in his address lauded the tremendous efforts put in by the principal, staff and students and also praised the standards achieved the release added.
