Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 22- On the last day of canvassing BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday campaigned in support of BJP candidates in different constituencies and urged voters in Jammu to take revenge of 60 year long discrimination by electing BJP candidates with large victory margin.
Sidhu addressed three different campaign meetings in support of BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar Dr Nirmal Singh, Sham Choudhary from Suchetgarh and Chander Prakash Ganga from Vijaypur.
At all the places Sidhu highlighted the issue of discrimination with the Jammu region and exposed the Kashmiri leaders and dared National Conference, PDP and Congress leaders to enter into a debate with him. "If these leaders would defeat me in the debate I promise to quit politics", Sidhu said.
During his short speeches he used different couplets and hard hitting one liners to puncture tall claims of the Kashmiri leaders and urged voters in Jammu to fight for their 'izaat' and 'pagdi'.
"It is not a common election. It is a decisive battle of survival and the current elections would decide the fate of people of Jammu".
Sidhu said if people of Jammu would vote for BJP candidates they can take revenge and punish those who discriminated against them.
Braving thick cover of fog large number of local people attended all the election meetings.
Advocating tough stand on terrorism Sidhu said India should remain firm on war against terrorism and follow policy of eye for an eye, arm for an arm and tooth for tooth.
Large, number of women and youth also attended the poll meetings of Sidhu and cheered him every time he posed a question to Kashmiri leaders. He stressed on the fact that despite having large population, large surface area less public representatives were elected by the people of Jammu, he urged voters in Jammu to wage a decisive war against the Kashmir rulers and touched several hearts when he started highlighting the plight of soldiers who pay taxes while buying items from canteens. He said it is most unfortunate that our soldiers who fight for our mother nation were forced to pay taxes for goods they buy from army canteens. He assured refugees from West Pok that soon after BJP government would come in office the BJP would look in to the demands and address all other genuine concerns raised by them from time to time
