DC inaugurates training programme held by Bombay Stock Exchange Institute at GDC Ramban

RAMBAN, Nov 30: The Bombay Stock Exchange Institute in association with the Employment & Counselling Centre, Ramban today started its maiden 12-day training programme under Mission Youth J&K for the educated unemployed youth at Government Degree College, Ramban.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam inaugurated the training programme in presence of the Principal, Government Degree College, Ramban, Prof. Subhash Chander Sharma and Assistant Director, Employment & Counselling Centre, Ramban, Dr Sushant Mahajan, faculty members and students.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the training programme is a part of the “Mission Youth” initiative of the Government of UT of J&K for upgrading the skills of youth in non-conventional economics sectors like the Share Market, Stock Exchange, Banking and Financial Services having high employability potential.
Exhorting the educated youth to avail this opportunity to make a career in the stocks and shares market, the DC, informed that the training programme consists of different courses like Mutual Fund, Business Correspondent, and Business Facilitator & Insurance.
In his address, the Principal sensitized students about the course and said that the programme has been designed to attract bright young graduates and college students who want to build a career in Banking Industry and Mutual Funds.
Meanwhile, AD Employment said that this training course has been started following a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Mission Youth of J&K and the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute. The trainers of the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute gave introductory speeches about the various courses and their employment scope to the trainees.
Earlier, Resource Persons highlighted the role of the Mutual Fund Industry in India and across the world.
