| ANTF recovers huge quantity of drugs, interstate Narco smuggler arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 1: On specific input, Anti-Narcotic Task Force apprehended one Narco dealer and recovered huge quantity of Poppy straw from a vehicle Truck no JK21-4771 coming via Mansar ,ANTF placed a Naka near Shah-Balore, near Mansar Morh. On thorough checking of said vehicle,huge quantity of Poppy Straw was recovered and one Narco dealer was arrested from the said vehicle, who has disclosed his identity as Angrej Singh s/o Khem Raj r/o Paraei,Panchari, Udhampur.Total contraband Poppy Straw weighing 552.28kgs(approx) has been recovered which was to be delivered outside the J&K UT. Accordingly ,case FIR no .18/2022 U/S 08/15 NDPS Act has been registered at police station ANTF Jammu. The investigation is at initial stage and ANTF is investigating the forward and backward links of this consignment and more arrests are expected. Moreover, ANTF has appealed general public to share any information regarding such Narco dealers, so that strict actions under law can be taken against them. |
