DIC Jammu hosts awareness workshop on filing of claims under NCS scheme

JAMMU, Dec 3: Industries Department (DIC), Jammu, today organizes one day awareness-cum-workshop for registration and filing of claims under New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) and Turnover Incentive Schemes 2021 for UT of J&K, here at Birpur Small Scale Industries Association Office, Bari Brahmana.
The workshop-cum-awareness camp was organized by Industries and Commerce Department (DIC Jammu) on the directions of Anoo Malhotra, Director General, Industries and Commerce.
A team of the Department, headed by Raman Kumar Bhagat, Industrial Promotion Officer and Pawan Kumar, Block Investigator and under the overall supervision of Virender Kumar Manyal, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Jammu, gave a live demonstration to the entrepreneurs about the New Central Sector Scheme for registration and filing of claims on Web Portal, on spot processing of incentives under NCSS and turnover incentive scheme – 2021.
Deepak Dhawan, President; Gagan Jain, General Secretary and Sharad Malhotra, Treasurer of Birpur Small Scale Industries Association, Bari Brahmana, along with representatives from various unit holders participated in the awareness programme and put forward their issues regarding registration and claims which were resolved by the team of the DIC Jammu during the camp.
The entrepreneurs expressed gratitude towards the Department for extending cooperation and conveyed sincere thanks for providing such facilities at Industrial Estates.
Moreover, GM DIC Jammu requested the Unit Holders to come forward and participate in more such events to be organized in near future and also requested them to file their claims for WCIS before the 31st of December 2022.
