Jodhamal's Senior wing celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 4: Distribution Function for session 2022-23 was solemnized with great zeal and enthusiasm at Jodhamal Public School, Jammu on Sunday,4th Dec,2022 after a breach of three years highlighting the theme, ''INDIA, 70 yrs on from Independence".
Mukesh Singh, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Jammu kindly consented to be the chief guest and Vivek Gupta, IPS DIG Traffic presided over as the guest of Honour.
Other dignitaries graced the occasion were Rajesh Rathore, President Kunal Anand, Vice President, Kundan Lal Dogra Treasurer of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex Jammu Sahodaya Complex and Vivek Arora, Principal Cambridge International School, Jammu.
Commencing on a devotional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the programme advanced with the welcome address by the School head boy, Karmanya Wahi.
The guests were accosted by the cadets of NCC, Army and Naval area reflecting an immaculate display of comradeship, discipline and accuracy. The School Rock Band was a mellifluous rendition to resist.
The sequence of events embraced various facets of Indian heritage and culture. The well synchronised Orchestra and chorus singers mentored by Deepak Kumar, Jasvir Singh, Subash Dey, Rohit and Sugandha Sharma with more than 100 participants entranced the audience to the eclectic era of 70,80 90's.
Other stunning performances included Das Avtar flashing supreme Vishnu-THE PRESERVER eventually restoring dharma and mythology from the times immemorial, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj augmenting the courage, valour and wisdom, Army Dance, Olympic dance and Kathak dance sighting soaring hopes and aspirations and thus projecting India's journey and evolution through its mythology, grandeur of bravehearts, cultural evolution and history of sports extending back to the ancient world. The whole show was diligently choreographed by Aadi and Shruti.
Nandan Kuthiala, the Trustee of the School laid special emphasis on the importance of the school in shaping the character of the child thus allowing them to dream big by embracing wide spectrum of awards and achievements.
Annual report of the session was released and read by Principal Dr. Deep Khare. He congratulated the school stakeholder for the No. 1 ranking of the school in Jammu and Kashmir by the most prestigious journal, Education World for the 8th consecutive year presented to the top schools Pan India.Very proudly, he applauded the winning of Racing Team 'Helios' for their creditable conquest at world finals 2022, SILVERSTONE UK. He further added 'The Exceptional Schools of India' award ensnared by Jodhamal public school in Global Educators fest among 25 schools PAN India 2022 held at Jaipur. Another commendation was the School of Eminence Award earned by Jodhamal Public School in 2021 amongst 80 schools PAN India.
In addition to the above, Harmanjot Singh was a pleasant mention to win the most prestigious award, The Pradhanmantri Rashtriya Bal Shakti Puraskar by Honourable PM Modi and for his social work & humanitarian work, he was conferred with another prestigious Diana Award initiated and supported by British Government.
Keeping the tradition alive, the National award winning team of India Today News Wiz Quiz was also felicitated. Aiming to reciprocate the community, various academic, sports and co-curricular awards were presented as a token of appreciation & gratitude.
Enthralling the audience, was the unveiling of captured moments behind the glorious performance thus projecting the hard work and the team effort of the computer department comprising of Sheetal Kotwal, Pooja Sharma,
Akriti Sethi, Smriti Mahajan and Vikas Bakshi in managing the technical stuff and the fun flash incurred by JMPIANS Moments of the function were marked by the precious words of advice and appreciation by the chief guest Mukesh Singh, during an address to the parents. He had all the praises for the brilliant show. He specifically applauded the school's role in getting the phenomenal placements of its alumni in the topnotch colleges and universities of international repute. He made a special mention of the developing infrastructure and accentuated Jodhamal to continue as the pioneer in the world of education. Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success. The spectators were spellbound to see the zestful & iconic performances displayed by the students.
On behalf of the Team Jodhamal the main awards were received by the school's Head Boy/Girl, Deputy Head Boy/Girl, Academic Prefects and CCA Prefects.
Mubeen Butt, the CCA Coordinator was applauded for her incessant coordination to make the programme a huge success.
The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl, Parthi Gupta.
