Hizb terror hideout buster in Marwah area of Kishtwar

Jammu, Dec 4: Indian Army (11 RR) busted a terrorist hideout in Nawapachi area of Kishtwar district seizing a huge cache of ammunition and war like stores. As per the details available with Early Times, based on specific intelligence input, search operation was launched by the army in Sarkundu area of Marwah which led to busting of hideout. The forces recovered Two Grenades, Two Magazines of AK 47, 109 rounds of AK 47 ammunition, 56 rounds of Pika, one Magazine of 303 Rifle, 27 rounds of 303 Rifle ammunition, one Detonator and Safety Fuse.
This recovery of warlike stores from sensitive Navapachchi area has delivered a decisive blow to the nefarious designs of terrorists attempting to reorganise themselves. It has reiterated the total domination of security forces in the Kishtwar District and also showcased the close co-ordination between Army and J&K Police.
The hideout is believed to be used by the local militant Riaz Ahmed who is active in the area since last 12 years along with longest surviving Hizb commander Jahinger Saroori and Muddasir Ahmed having Rs. 30 lakh cash award to a person who provided information that led to their arrest of help the security forces in neutralising the three terrorists.
