Congress demands early assembly elections in J&K

Sunderbani, Dec 9: Congress has demandin immediate assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, alleging that BJP is planning to delay the same under the garb of PRI elections by pre poning them.
Addressing Congress workers here today who had assembled to celebrate the victory of the party in Himachal Pradesh, JKPCC Senior Leader and Former MLC Mr Ravinder Sharma said that congress is ready for early assembly elections to restore the much awaited democracy in J &K , but apprehended that BJP might delay the same by pre -poning panchayat and local bodies elections,which have around an year to complete the term. The administration has already started preparations as per field reports and the unexpected defeat of BJP in Himachal would be added factor, he added.
The Congress workers held celebrations at Sunderbani and Nowshera today over the victory of the party in Himachal Pradesh assembly elections.
Congress workers of Block Sunderbani and Nowshera held seprate celebrations under the leadership of Senior Congress Leader and former MLC Ravinder Sharma which was attended by the Block Presidents and other local functionaries and Youth Congress activists.
The workers distributed sweets and raised slogans of Gonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, AICC President Malika Arjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi and congratulated the leadership and people of Himachal Pradesh. .
Shri Ravinder Sharma expressed gratitude to the people of Himachal Pradesh and congratulated the party workers there for working hard to defeat BJP.He appreciated the central leadership for the coordinated efforts to win the elections against huge odds including in the by elections in different states.
He said that BJP had secret understanding with certain parties to divide the opposition votes in Gujrat and created media hype to confuse the voters for indirect gains but the congress has more than 27 percent vote share in Gujrat too.
He asked the workers to understand the pulse of people who want change as the masses are fed up with the anti poor and anti youth policies of Modi government which has gifted unprecedented price hike and record unemployment besides corruption in recruitments. He said congress will emerge victorious in J &K and form the government as and when elections are held, demanding early assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir without delay.
NC Sharma, Tirth Ram Sharma, Sdr Ajit Singh, Ashok Kumar, Chuni Lal Sharma, Sarbjeet, Dr Ved Parkash Sudan, Om Parkash, Ashwani Kumar, Raj Kumar Raina,Sham Lal, Novat Ram, Capt Joginder Singh, Govind Sudan, Aman Kumar,(YC) Amarnath were prominent in Sunderbani while in Nowshera celebrations were led Vijay Bakshi Councillor, General Secretary DIstrict Congress , Advocate Gourav Parasher Spokesperson, Daleep Heer, Suresh Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Nikhil Heer and others.
