Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 13: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for using derogatory language against Agniveers.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that Rahul Gandhi has lost mental balance because no sane person will insult the security forces in this way. He said that the way Rahul has been insulting the army and other security forces it seems that the Congress Party is frustrated and desperate for being out of power.
Using strong words, Kavinder said that the Congress leader should come out with an unconditional apology for insulting the army and other security forces.
Meanwhile, reacting over the latest stand-off between Indian army and Chinese PLA in Arunachal Pradesh, the senior BJP functionary said that China should not forget the stiff resistance which the Indian army has given to its soldiers in Gulwan Valley. He said that the army is capable enough to safeguard every inch of land belonging to India. He said that the people of the country should rest assured that the Indian army will give befitting reply to China as and when it will try to carry out its expansionists plans.
Giving response to Omar Abdullah's stance of restoring dialogue with Pakistan, Kavinder said that the Centre is well versed with the situation across the borders and there is no need to give sermons on resuming talks with Pakistan. He said that the entire world knows about the credentials of the rogue nation Pakistan therefore Omar should not take sides of the nation which is brazenly supporting terrorism.
