| 171 migrants cast vote at New Delhi | | | Early Times Report NEW DELHI, DEC 24: As many as 171 migrant voters today cast their votes at four polling booths set up for the migrant voters here today in the seventh and final phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Assistant Returning Officer, 600 electors were registered at 5-Prithiviraj Road polling booth, 68 at Shalimar Bagh, 520 at Dilshad Garden and 259 at Najafgarh polling booth. Constituency-wise, there were 1310 migrant votes for Habbakadal Assembly constituency, 59 migrant votes for Sonawar, 32 each for Hazratbal and Amirakadal constituencies, 12 for Batmaloo and two for Khanyar constituency. In today’s polling, 146 migrant votes were polled for Habbakadal Assembly constituency, 13 for Sonawar constituency, 11 for Hazratbal and one for Batmaloo constituency. Four polling booths had been set up for the migrant voters in the Union capital to exercise their right of franchise. These booths were located at JK House, 5-Prithviraj Road; Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden; SDM Office, Najafgarh; and BR-2, Shalimar Bagh.
