Teach China a lesson by military, economic strikes: Sahni | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 16: Enraged by China's continuous intrusion into the Indian border and skirmishes with Indian jawans, Shiv Sainiks have appealed to the government to ban Chinese-made goods in government projects. Shiv Sainiks holding placards with "Boycott Chinese Goods", "India will not depend on China", "Ban Chinese goods in government projects", "Teach China a lesson with the military and economic attack" protested at the party's central office in Jammu. Addressing the media persons, State chief Manish Sahni said that after the ever-increasing insolence of China, all relations with China should be cut off and goods manufactured in China should be completely boycotted. Sahni has demanded the central government to ban imports from China with immediate effect and issue instructions to ban goods made in China in government projects and public works. Objecting to the installation of China-made smart electricity meters in households and business establishments, Party J&K chief Manish Sahni has demanded an explanation from the government on the electricity smart meters being installed in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded the replacement of Chinese meters from the country and J&K particularly forthwith. Sahni said that the use of Chinese equipment in important departments like POWERGRID is playing with the security of the country. Due to this, there is a possibility of danger of hacking and malware (cyber attack), he added. |
