JKTJAC holds meeting, raises burning issues

CHENANI, Dec 17: Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) today on 17.11.2022 held an emergency meeting at Chenani under the leadership of District President Lekh Raj Parihar and Zonal President Ajaz Ahmed Wani. The meeting was attended by executive members of JKTJAC of zone Chenani. While speaking on the occasion Lekh Raj Parihar raised the burning issues of the teaching fraternity including:
Comprehensive Transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme, Regularisation of ReTs who have completed 5 years ReT period and conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/ III, Release of in situ and other arrears of the teachers, Scraping of NPS and inclusion of NPS employees for Old Pension Scheme, raising of Grade of teachers at par with their counter parts in other UTs , DPC of teachers which is pending for last 9 years.
Meanwhile JKTJAC showed strong resentment against non release of salary for the month of November 2022 of hundreds of teachers and masters of zone Chenani on pretext of updating of JKHRMS due to which they are suffering badly . They also showed concern on the slow pace of updating of the same and suggested to expedite the process by involving the exercise at pay centre level.
On the occasion JKTJAC leadership submitted a written Memorandum to ZEPO Chenani and warned that if their salary for both the months along with DA arrears is not released before 5th of January 2023 , they will hold a protest to gherao the office and for this sole responsibility will be of ZEO OFFICE CHENANI.
