Dy Mayor inaugurates free USG camp at KD Multispeciality Hospital

JAMMU, Dec 17: Deputy Mayor Jammu visited KD Multispeciality Hospital, Marble Market to inaugurate free USG camp and lauded the authorities of KD Multispeciality Hospital for their efforts to provide free ultrasound services to patients. During the inauguration of the camp, Deputy Mayor of Jammu urged people of the city to take advantage of the free ultrasound services provided by KD Hospital at the health camp for fifteen days till 31/12/2022 . He said that the camp was a great opportunity for the citizens to avail the facility without having to incur any cost. He further added that the services were necessary for timely diagnosis and prevention of diseases, and it was important to ensure that people had access to them. He concluded by wishing the participants good health and encouraging them to use most of the facility. He appreciated the efforts of the hospital authority in providing quality healthcare services to the people. He also said that the hospital is making a great contribution to society by providing initial free services for 15 days to the needy patients. He urged the hospital authority to continue their good work and to strive for providing better healthcare services to the people. This service is being provided at a highly subsidized rate, making it an affordable option for people in need of this diagnostic test. The KD Multispeciality Hospital is equipped with the latest technology and has highly qualified and experienced doctors who can provide the best healthcare services. I believe that this facility would be beneficial to the people of Jammu and help them in getting the best medical care.
Deputy Mayor Jammu emphasized that the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to work for the welfare of all sections of society, especially for the poor and underprivileged. He laid emphasis on the need to work for the development of all sections of society, including health, education, sanitation and infrastructure. Deputy Mayor, Jammu also encouraged other hospitals to follow suit and provide free services or timely Medical camps to the people in need.
Dr Sumit Sharma, CEO of KD Multispeciality Hospital said "Ultrasound is a very important diagnostic tool for us and it is also very cost-effective. We are committed to providing the best possible care to our patients, and ultrasound is an important part of this commitment. We are providing ultrasound services to our needy patients at no cost till 31st dec in order to ensure they receive the best possible care. We are also looking at introducing more advanced technology and equipment in our hospital to further improve the quality of medical care we provide." They also expressed their appreciation to Deputy Mayor Jammu for their efforts to improve the health and sanitation of the city.
