ICAI organises Super Sixes Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, Dec 17: Jammu & Kashmir Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India hosted a Super Sixes cricket tournament for Chartered Accountants on 17th December, 2022 at Isle Ball Ground, Satwari, Jammu.
Eight Teams participated in the tournament consisting of Chartered Accountants and CA Students. CA. Sat Sharma (Ex. MLA Jammu West) was the Chief Guest on the Occasion.
During the First Half, Team headed by CA. Amit Gupta, Team headed by CA. Akshay Jandyal, Team headed by CA. Jatin Wahi and Team headed by CA. Utsav Sharma advanced into semi-finals.
During the Second Half, Team headed by CA. Jatin Wahi and Team headed by CA. Amit Gupta advanced into the finals for the summit clash.
Further in the finals, Team headed by CA. Jatin Wahi lifted the trophy.
Best Batsman of the tournament was given to CA. Shubham Gupta and Best Bowler to CA. Ritesh Gupta. CA. Sourav Mehta & CA Parveen Dogra contributed as umpires in the matches.
Chairman of the branch CA. Nakul Saraf thanked the members for their wonderful participation and said that these kinds of events serve as stress busters and help in creating a bond between members.
Secretary of the Branch, CA. Vineet Kohli conducted the proceedings of the Prize distribution ceremony. Vice Chairman of the Branch CA. Vikas Purdhani, along, CA. Ayush Sawhney and CA. Sourav Pargal distributed the medals to all the participants. A large number of Chartered Accountants, CA Students and their families were also present during the event.
