Ravinder Sharma led Congress team visited families of Rajouri victims
Seek independent probe, adequate compensation, jobs

Rajouri, Dec 17: Senior Congress leaders led by JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma Ex -MLC visited the families of two victims killed in Rajouri incident yesterday and shared the grief and sorrow of the families on behalf of the party rank and file besides seeking high level independent probe and adequate compensation and jobs for families..
Mr Sharma expressed deep shock over the incident which resulted in to the death of two young boys leaving behind young widows and two minor children each. The families are very poor and belong to dalit samaj, who need to be helped out of the way, in the facts and circumstances of the unfortunate incident.
Sharma said the incident is is subject matter of investigation, but in the facts and circumstances, a high level independent probe or judicial enquiry should be held to bring out entire truth about the incident.
Congress expressed solidarity with the victims families and supported their genuine demand of jobs to the widows, free and quality education to their children besides adequate compensation of fifty lacs per family, as per their demand.
The party said that the border people have great respect for the institution of armed forces and always fought Pakistan sponsored terrorism, shoulder to shoulder with our forces. We are together in fighting terrorism but transparency is back bone of rule of law. Let rule of law prevail and truth come out, without commenting upon the merits of investigation, which should be free, fair and independent.
