Rekha urges to celebrate "Good Governance Day" on Vajpayee's birth anniversary

JAMMU, Dec 20: Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the government for its achievements in eight years of rule, BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan on Tuesday said Modi has carved out a new identity for India at the global level. The meeting regarding the program of 25 December in RS Pura Jammu South Assembly Constituency to celebrate "Good Governance Day" (Sushasan Divas) and also listen to PM's Mann ki Baat at Kumar Palace, Kullian, RS Pura Jammu.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Narinder Singh National Secretary, Sham Choudhary Ex-Minister, Garu Ram Bhagat, Ex MLA, Secretary BJP J&K, and Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, Sarpanch and Seh Prabhari Adv Dev Raj Sharma, Pawan Singh Corporator and Co Incharge of Programme, Ex District President HS Pummy, Chairman Municipal Committee Satpal Puppi, Mandal Presidents, Bikram Sandhu, Vijay Sharma, Ranjit Singh District office bearers and Councillors.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu South under the leadership of Rekha Mahajan has urged all its Mandal units to actively take part in "Good Governance Day" to celebrate former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday on December 25. She said it is our duty to take part and celebrate the late Prime Minister's birth anniversary as "Good Governance Day".
Rekha has directed all its Mandal units to organise several programs on 25 December like PM's Mann ki Baat, 'Kavi Sammelans', debates, poetry recitals, meetings to discuss the former PM's life and how the Modi government is taking forward Good Governance. She said every karyakarta of Party till booth will participate in this Programme .Rekha said the birth anniversary of Vajpayee was declared as Good Governance Day by the Modi government in 2014.
Dr Narinder Singh clarifies in length to people the achievements of the Modi government and how they have benefitted from various schemes launched in the past eight years.
The outreach program will focus on reaching out to the beneficiaries of various schemes of the Modi government, including the Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, PMGAY, Jan Dhan Yojana, etc.
Sham Choudhary also emphasized that the aim to observe this day is to let the students and citizens of the nation know about the duties and responsibilities of the government they need to fulfil. Good governance day acts as a reminder to the government about their responsibilities, and the government should be unbiased, transparent, and development-oriented.
Ayodhya gupta asked the public to continue to extend support to BJP at all levels to ensure that the country touched new pinnacles of peace and progress in the coming times. He said that the policies of the BJP have long-lasting opportunities for the people which might steer the country and its population to an extreme level of development and prosperity.
Prof Garu Ram Bhagat, Seh Prabhari Adv DevRaj, Former District President H S Pummi, and Pawan Singh also Spoke at length on the occasion.
Proceedings of the Programme were conducted by Akash Chopra, and the Felicitation of guests and vote of thanks were Presented by Pushpinder Singh Charak.
District Vice Presidents Vikram Sharma, Shalu Gupta, Secretary Pummi Choudhary, Ramnik Singh, Navin Bharati and Corporators were also present in the meeting.
