| Posters threaten poll campaigners in Tral | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar: In Tral area of Pulwama in South Kashmir posters have been stick to the walls in which sixty persons having participated in the recent poll campaigning have been threatened by the militants. Reports reaching to Press Bureau of India indicate that Hizbul Mujahideen has identified sixty persons who allegedly took part in the recently concluded polls, mentioning their names in the posters.
The persons who participated in the elections have been threatened that they would have to face dire consequences for participating in the polls, sources said. Police,however, has no information about the posters in the area, " "we have no information about the posters in which threats have been issued to the people who campaigned in the recent elections", Superintendent of police Awantipora told Press Bureau of India. Meanwhile reports from Karfile Mohala of Srinagar city indicate that some youth gathered on Wednesday evening and entered the residential houses of some ex-militants beating them for casting votes. They reportedly thrashed Prince Saleem , Bita Waza and Shabir Ahmed all residents of Karfile Mohala.
