Good Governance Week: ADDC reviews activities, achievements of deptts

RAJOURI, Dec 22: Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the activities being undertaken by different departments as a part of Good Governance Week.
It is pertinent to mention here that the District Administration is celebrating "Sushasan Saptah" (Good Governance Week) from December 19-25, 2022 and as a part of this week, a number of activities are being carried out in the district to redress the genuine public concerns and also to improve services delivery.
During the meeting, the ADDC took a comprehensive review of activities being carried out by different departments under Good Governance Week. The concerned officers briefed the meeting about the same in detail.
While addressing the meeting, the ADDC highlighted the objective of the Good Governance Week saying that it aims to promote citizen-centric governance and improve public service delivery along with redressal of public grievances.
He also directed the officers to put in extra efforts to ensure that all the genuine concerns of the public are redressed during the week besides providing maximum government services to them at their doorsteps.
He also asked them to educate the public about various services which can be availed through online mode and motivate them to take the benefits of the same.
The ADDC also stressed on the concerned officers to achieve the physical and financial targets under various schemes in time in the larger public interest. He also asked them to ensure the public grievances on different grievances redressal portals are redressed in time.
He also passed directions to all the departments to intensify their activities as part of a nationwide campaign for the redressal of public grievances and improving online service delivery in the district.
Officers who attended the meeting were PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; DSHO, Dr Safraz Naseem Chowdhary; CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar; ARTO, Shami Kumar; LDM, Sanjeev Bhasin; AD Planning, Mohd Rafi; AD Fisheries, Munesh Sharma and other concerned officers.
