JAMMU, Dec 22: 67th Foundation Day of Northern Zone Insurance Employees' Association, representing LIC employees of Jammu and Kashmir was observed by NZIEA Srinagar Division in the leadership of Comrade Pawan Gupta, Divisional Secretary of the Association. On this occasion, Flag of the Association was hoisted by Vice President of the Association, Comrade Dinesh Kumar Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Com. Pawan Gupta said that NZIEA was formed on 22December 1956, and 67th Foundation Day is being observed all over the Northern Zone today. He said that LIC employees under the banner have been able to protect LIC till date by its struggles and it will continue to fight against the policies of the Central Government, which are leading to selling of public sector, inflation, unemployment, loss of jobs, farmers' suicide, ending with permanent employment in army etc.Com. Rajesh Gupta, Joint Secretary of the Association, spoke about the sacrifices of the previous leaders due to which we, the LIC employees have achieved due rights. He stressed the need for broader level unity of the working class to fight the anti-people, anti-farmer, anti-working class, anti-youth policies of the government. He congratulated all the members on this day. Others who were present- Com. Raj Kumar Sharma-Joint secretary, COM. Rajesh Kumar-Treasurer, Com. Raj Kumar - Office Secretary, Com.
