| Seminar on Dogri Maanta Divas organized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 22: On 2nd day of DOGRI MAANTA DIVAS celebrations by pioneer literary organization DOGRI SANSTHA, Jammu from December 21st to December 23rd 2022 at Dogri Bhawan, Dogri Sanstha, Karan Nagar Jammu, a seminar was organized which was chaired by Prof. R.D. Sharma , former Vice Chancellor Jammu University as Chief Guest whereas it was presided over by Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
The seminar had six papers on Criticism of Dogri Literature in which Dr. Bansi Lal Sharma presented paper on Literary Criticism, Col. Raj Manawari presented paper on Ghazals, Prakash Premi read his paper on story writing, Aushotosh Prashar on Poetry, Jagdeep Dubey on Plays and Dr. Sandeep Dubey presented his paper on Prose. The key note on the occasion was read by Prof. Veena Gupta, Vice President Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
Prof. R.D. Sharma during his address on this occasion said that Dogri Sanstha is doing a commendable job of promoting mother tongue Dogri and cultural traditions of Duggar Pradesh. He pleaded that we should respect our mother tongue and promote it at individual level also that will only ensure its actual preservation and promotion. He also complemented Dogri Sanstha for selection of relevant papers for Seminar that is demand of time also.
Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu, who presided over the function said that Dogri Sanstha Jammu always tries its level best to come up to the expectations of Dogras. Through this important day when our mother tongue was included in 8th schedule of Indian Constitution, a sense of belongingness should develop for own language and cultural heritage which is the focus of the organization as well.
The program that was attended by galaxy of prominent personalities from all walks of life was conducted by Dr. Chanchal Bhasin and vote of thanks was presented by Inderjeet Kesar. |
