TRF issuing threats to nationalist BJP leaders for derailing peace process: Kavinder
12/22/2022 10:37:24 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday slammed The Resistance Front (TRF) for issuing threats to BJP leaders in Baramulla District claiming that such tactics won't work against nationalist people because these are always on the target of those entities which are inimical to peace in Valley.
In a hard hitting statement issued against the TRF, the BJP stalwart leader said that terror outfit is issuing threats to nationalist leadership in the Kashmir region for derailing the peace initiatives but it is unacquainted with the fact that BJP leadership would continue to work for establishing peace and colossal development come what may.
Kavinder said that whenever a political process is about to start in Kashmir to restore peace, the elements inimical to tranquility always attempt to disrupt the peace process. He said that unlike the incidents in the past, the Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not allow anyone to stop the ongoing peace initiatives in the Valley and whosoever will try to disturb the peace will be taken to task. He said that Kashmiri politicians should also desist from issuing statements in favour of organizations which are defiant and support violence in one form or the other.
The former Deputy Chief Minister also asked the government to provide adequate security to those leaders whose names have been figured in the hit list issued by TRF as it is very necessary to repose confidence among the people who are working for restoring normalcy and peace in the UT giving priority to nation more than their own security and safety.
