Poonch, Dec 22: To commemorate the birth anniversary of great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, rhe department of School Education Poonch organized webinar on the Topic ``Life and Contributions of S Ramanujan”.
Eminent Mathematicians from various Universities, NCERT and DSEJ participated in the Webinar.
Bishamber Dass, Chief Education Officer Poonch inaugurated the Webinar andasked the teachers to inform the students about the contributions of SRamanujan. .
Prominent Mathematicians Dr. Kameshwar Rao, from Tamilnadi, Dr. Harneet Gandhi from Delhi University, Ashu Mangotra (Research Officer) from SCERT Jammu, Dr Jagdish Lal from Directorate of School Education Jammu and Dr. Harish rma from Poonch were the prominent Speakers on the occasion who spread light on the life and contributions of S Ramanujan.
