NEP changing India
12/25/2022 11:03:08 PM

The National Education Policy (NEP) is a step towards creating a futuristic education system aimed at regaining the country’s pristine glory.
After Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, he stressed on the need to revamp the education system in the country and within eight years he has succeeded in transforming the entire education scenario.
The number of premier educational institutions like IITs, IIMs and medical colleges in the country increased substantially.
The NEP has been devised in such a way that children from a very young age are being taught about the ethics and practices of their culture. They are being made to understand that knowledge has always been the highest purpose of life in the country, and saints and spiritual leaders have played a pivotal role in reviving the country’s lost glory in the field of education.
The implementation of NEP has provided a bigger role to the educational institutions and the work is being carried out at a very fast pace at every level to provide generation-next with quality education.
The NEP focuses on making the coming generations aware about India’s ancient glory and great pride.
India has shown the way to the world by carrying out research in the fields ranging from ‘atma tattva’ to ‘paramatma tattva’, from spirituality to ayurveda, from social science to solar science, from maths to metallurgy, and from zero to infinity. Women scholars debated with their men counterparts at a time when the term ‘gender equality’ was not even born in the world.
The young students have to be made aware about these facts and the rich history of India so that they can proudly tell the world that India is not only about what Britishers gave to Indians.
India had its own legal system much before the British introduced its legal system in India. But the erstwhile regimes didn’t make any attempt to revive the traditional educational system of the country. It was revived only after Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister.
The change is visible as the educational institutions are moving forward in the right direction and have introduced new teaching methods that would help children to sharpen their skills and become successful in their lives.
