District Admin resolves over 2500 public issues across Ramban during GGW

RAMBAN, Dec 25: District Administration Ramban has resolved more than 2500 public issues on the spot during the celebration of weeklong 'Good Governance Campaign 2022'.
District Administration Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, is closely monitoring the activities to make the event a grand success.
During the Week long Good Governance Week (GGW) all the Departments conducted different activities to provide hand holding to people to avail the benefits of different public welfare and youth oriented schemes, besides resolving their issues on the spot.
To achieve real-time results of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur"campaign, the Deputy Commissioner mobilised all the departments to resolve the issues of public at their doorsteps, besides providing handholding to rural populace for availing the benefits of online services.
Sheep husbandry department, today subsidized the benefits of Integrated Sheep Development Scheme (ISDS) to five persons for establishing five Units here at Chachihal,Tethar, Zaban, Nagam and Halimaidan of Block Banihal.
In collaboration with local VLEs and PRIs, the Social Welfare Department continued its endeavour to enroll all the 5000 plus pensioners PCP for UDID and also helped the beneficiaries in applying online.
The SWD is also holding a series of awareness camps to acquaint masses about the disastrous consequences of drug abuse on society. Community participation and deterrence through elders, women and volunteers are the main mitigation tools adopted by the social welfare department to keep check the proliferation of drugs in the society. Other departments also hold camps for redressal the public grievances on the spot.
