JAMMU, DEC 26: To carry out re-conductoring of Gladni-Bari-Brahmana Transmission line, shutdown of 33 KV Seora Feeder, emanating from 132/33 KV Grid station Miransahib, the power supply to Kunjwani, Apna Vihar, Greater Kailash, Rakh Bandhu and MES etc shall remain affected on December 27 and 29, 2008 from 0800 hours to 1700 hours.
Similarly, to carry out thickening of 33 KV G-6 feeder emanating from 220/120/33 KV Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to Transport Nagar, Narwal, Rajiv Colony, Bathindi, Sunjwan, Malik Market, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony and other adjoining areas shall remain affected on December 29 and 30,2008 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, to carry out stringing work of 220 KV Thein- Hiranagar Transmission Line Construction Division-II Jammu, the power supply to Saiprinpai, Ramkote, Macheddi, Gura Kalyal, Baghbag, Phinter, Dinga Amb and MES being fed from 33 KV Hiranagar-Billawar line and 11 KV Dinga Amb and 11 KV MES feeders emanating from 66/33/11 KV receiving station Hiranagar shall also remain affected on December 29 and 30, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The PHE, MES installations and other essential loads shall remain affected during the shutdown period.
The shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
