| Martyr ‘Udham Singh’ remembered | | |

JAMMU, DEC 26: Glowing tributes were paid to the martyr S Udham Singh on his birth anniversary by the members of J&K freedom fighter association (FFA) here today.
Speaking on the occasion chairman of the association B L Gupta said, Udham Singh fulfilled his commitment to take revenge of massacre of Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, were hundreds of innocent persons were killed by Gen. Dyer. He said these great martyrs and freedom fighters sacrifice their liege for us. He urged upon the youth present on the occasion to fallow the path shown by these great men of the country an added that people bent upon to disturb our progress be delt firmly.
President FFA, Ved Gandotra and Vice President T R Dogra also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the life o Udham Singh and other martyr’s who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of ‘Motherland’.
Among other who also spoke on the occasion were Jaggit Singh, Rashpal Singh, Paras Ram Poonchi, Akbar Ali, Haji Jamal Din, Krishan Vaid and Ram Dass Bhagat.
