| Army ready for anything: Gen | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 26- A senior army officer on Friday said, "Indian Army is maintaining a tight vigil along the International borders with Pakistan in Jammu sector and is prepared for anything and everything".
Interacting with media persons after the flag off ceremony of education tour for children, Major General DL Choudhary, General officer in command of 26 Tiger Division in Jammu said, "all activities related to movement of Pakistani soldiers on the other side of the border are being kept under close watch and close monitoring and we are prepared for anything and everything".
Fielding direct questions with regard to heightened movement of Pakistani soldiers in this time of the year, Major General Choudhary made it absolutely clear that these are all routine activities which are carried out on either side of the border. He, however, added "We are prepared to meet any challenges and awaiting orders from top brass of the Indian army". Major General Choudhary maintained that the situation is not alarming enough and villagers have not been asked to shift to safer locations.
