12/28/2022 10:15:25 PM
Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Dec 28: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress President Vikar Rasool on Wednesday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is spreading hatred in the country and 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is to cleanse it with harmony.
"BJP is spreading hatred in the country and "Bharat Jodo Yatra" led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is unrolling the harmony to eradicate the abhorrence", Vikar said while talking to the media persons in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Wednesday.
He said the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' will resume on January 2 from Delhi and hopefully the large number of people of Jammu and Kashmir will wholeheartedly participate in it.
"We hope that a large number of people will join the yatra more than the people who joined in other states of the country", he said.
Vikar said that among other things the main motive of Yatra here is to eradicate hatred from the whole of the country, restore statehood, address the unemployment and to conduct elections so that the democratic system in Jammu and Kashmir should be restored like other states of the country.
He said "all secular parties will participate in the "Bharat Jodo Yatra" and the communal minded parties obviously will support BJP".
