Jammu, Dec 30: Emphasizing to quell the adulteration and mitigate the sufferings of the Consumers, the teams of Food Safety, Drugs and Food Control Orgn, Divsion jammu initiated the drive in a spirit to ensure the availability of Safe, Pure, and better qaulity of Food grains to the public and taking the lead on the teams in Different Districts raided various CAPD outlets, fair price shops ,IFC stores inspected the establishments under FSSA, Rules and Regulations ,during this drive collected 07 Enforcement samples during this compaign the Enforcement teams advised the dealers to maintain registration/Licenses under FSS Act.
Besides,massive intensifications were carried out to maintain qaulity to check the poor conditions of the storage facilities and supply of Ration to the Consumers in the region.In this regard,necessary steps are being taken to ensure qaulity and conditions of the stores where the Food grains will be stored in good conditions.As per hand outs of the teams at max. places the concerned authorities need to modernize the storage conditions so as to avoid the outbreaks through rodants like rates and other insects which breed and cause health hazards so the storage conditions need to be full flagged addressed for Safe Ration supply to the Consumers. |
