| Sleepless nights ahead of counting | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 27- Political leaders and candidates, who were in the poll fray, continue to be tense. Number of them said that “we have not been able to sleep for the last two nights because of tension”. "It is going to be a difficult night for us as our fate will be decided tomorrow,” one Congress candidate said. Despite uncertainty haunting various political leaders the Congress, the PDP and the National Conference, continue to be the key players, who are most likely to play the most crucial role in the government formation. On the other hand, several BJP leaders were in good mood and were anxiously awaiting the outcome of the poll results tomorrow morning. State BJP President Ashok Khjauria who seemed to be confident said, in response to a question, that BJP is going to play decisive role in the next government formation. Another senior BJP leader said, the people of Jammu have finally decided to show the exit door to the political parties who failed to represent their concerns in the state assembly. The mood in the National Conference camp was little somber. Several senior party leaders claimed NC would emerge as single largest political party. PCC Chief Saif- ud- Din Soz sounded extra confident while he claimed that Congress party would come back to power and fulfill all the promises made to the people of the state during the campaigning.
