Security forces strictly crushed plans to revive militancy in Jammu division: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Jan 2: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit today sought a befitting reply to Pakistan for its attempts to revive terrorism in the Jammu division.
In this regard, Shiv Sena activists headed by Manish Sahni, President J&K unit assembled in Roop Nagar area of Jammu and staged a strong protest against Pakistan. The protesters also burnt the effigy of the Pakistan Flag.
Talking to reporters, Manish Sahni said that the time has come to crush the nefarious attempts being made by the masterminds of terrorists sitting across the border to intensify the targeted killings in Kashmir as well as Jammu division. He sought a befitting reply to Pakistan for its attempts to revive terrorism in the J&K state.
Reacting strongly to the terrorist attack on Hindus in Dangri village of Rajouri district of Jammu division late Sunday evening and the death of an innocent by IED attack on civilians protesting against the incident on Monday morning, Shiv Sena demanded from the Central Government to teach a lesson of life to Pakistan supporting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and to eradicate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.
Sahni said that nefarious plans are being hatched to revive terrorism in the Jammu division which has been freed from terrorism, after the Kashmir Valley, by carrying out targeted attacks in the Jammu division. He said that an atmosphere of fear has been created in the hearts of Hindus.
Sahni said that despite continuous alerts being issued by intelligence agencies, terrorists are being successful in carrying out attacks. Contrary to the claims of security forces, terrorists are carrying out targeted killings with impunity, he added. He appealed to the Central Government to take adequate measures in destroying the terrorism completely from the Jammu and Kashmir state, failing which the Shiv Sena will intensify its protest against the failure of Centre in maintaining peace in J&K.
Among others who were present include President Women's Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Balwant Singh and Youth Secretary Rajesh Handa and many others were present.
