Sadhotra condemns selective terror killings in Rajouri
1/2/2023 10:42:03 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 2: Former minister and senior National Conference leader Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today condemned selective killings by terrorists in Rajouri, describing the act as most barbaric, inhuman and an open war against the civilized society. "Thus far the selective and targetted killings were confined to the Valley in the recent past but now this malady is inflicting the border region of Jammu, which raises questions over the security grid", Sahotra said in a statement while raising doubts about the tall claims of improving scenario across Jammu and Kashmir by the Centre and the administration here. Sadhotra said the gruesome killings taking place days after the foiled terror movement in the Jammu periphery speaks about the perpetual threat notwithstanding the government propaganda of the fast dwindling number of terrorists. The administration owes answers to the people whose sense of security has been tormented by the Dangri killings, he added. The former minister said that one after another act of terror violence is a matter of concern for the people, craving for peace and harmony. The failure of the administration in tackling the situation cannot be condoned, he said Sadhotra conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
