NHPC organizes Cultural programme under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to welcome New Year 2023

New Delhi, Jan 2: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company organized cultural programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to welcome New Year 2023 on 2nd January 2023 at NHPC Office Complex, Faridabad. On this occasion, Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical/Personnel), NHPC was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was also attended by R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance) NHPC alongwith other senior officers and NHPC employees.
In his address Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical/Personnel), NHPC extended his warm wishes for New Year 2023 to all NHPCians. Shri Chaubey said that NHPC had made great progress on various fronts and highlighted recent milestones of NHPC including bagging of 750 MW West Seti Hydroelectric Project and 450 MW SR-6 Hydroelectric Project in Nepal. He further informed that work is progressing at a very good pace in NHPC’s under construction projects as 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project and 800 MW Parbati-II project. He also praised NHPC employees for their hard work and asked them to continue working with the same dedication in the future.
All NHPC's projects/ power stations/ units were also linked to the event through live webcasting and Facebook Live. A special highlight of the programme was a grand cultural performance featuring artists from Kathak Kendra, New Delhi that greatly enthralled the audience.
