| Natrang team being honored by SBI | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 27- State Bank of India is going to honor Natrang artists for their outstanding contribution to the development of theatre in J&K. This was disclosed here today by S.P. Singh Deputy General Manager, State Bank of India. The group which participated in two International theatre festivals last week with the play 'Sainyan Bhaye Kotwal' directed by Balwant Thakur is going to present the same play on Sunday at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu at 5.30 pm which is being witnessed by the esteemed customers and patrons of State Bank of India under their customer relation initiative. This exclusive show has been organized by SBI. O.P. Aggarwal, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. S.P. Singh further said that it becomes the major responsibility of all of us to promote the art, culture and the finer human skills. Such activities are to be patronized and encouraged for the creation of a healthy society. The artists of Natrang who have brought laurels for the state of Jammu and Kashmir deserve such honors and their performance of the play which for the first time brought international recognition for this region. He expressed full confidence that these artists on Sunday will delight all of us through their excellent histrionics. The invitation cards will be available with all branches of State Bank of India and hoped that this play of Natrang will not only entertain our esteemed audience but also educate about the art of dramatics and theatre. The artists who are being honored by the Bank include Natrang Director Balwant Thakur, Music Composer Suraj Singh, Actors- Suresh Kumar, Anil Tickoo, Sanjeev Gupta, Pankaj Sharma, Dimple Sharma, Gaurav Jamwal, Tajasvi Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Rohit Verma, Rahul Singh, Amit Sharma, Arvind Singh, Mohammed Yaseen, Hemant Bholla, Ritesh Dogra Singers Supriya Sharma, Lakshmi Sharma and Satish Lalotra, in addition to the off-stage team.
