DCC Rural intensifies awareness campaign on Bharat Jodo Yatra

JAMMU, Jan 3: The District Congress Committee Jammu Rural today intensified its awareness campaign in connection with Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out by AICC leader Rahul Gandhi at Pakhian area of Jammu North Constituency.
The awareness campaign was organized by DCC Rural and Block Congress Committee, Bhalwal in which Mula Ram, senior Congress leader and former minister was the Chief Guest.
While interacting with people, Mula Ram said that AICC leader Rahul Gandhi was on the path to unite the nation despite threats to his life and also harassment from the BJP Government at the Centre. He said that rulers at the Centre and the J&K State were least bothered about public-oriented policies and were looting the country's wealth and giving it to the crony capitalists. The country can be saved only by the Congress and it was the responsibility of everyone to support Rahul Gandhi for a better and safe future, he added.
The former minister said that the ruling government at the Centre has triggered price rise and unemployment and forced farmers to commit suicide. He appealed to Congress workers to come out in the open and tell people about the government's failures, and convert the Bharat Jodo Yatra into a mass movement.
Hari Singh Chib, President DCC Jammu Rural, said that the preparations for Rahul Gandhi Ji's Bharat Jodo Yatra are going on in full swing. He said the Congress Party has always taken a strong stance against the BJP's divide and rule policy and this is a very good effort in that direction. He further added that the yatra is also very important and close to people's hearts, because it is bringing up a lot of issues and challenges such as unemployment, misuse of constitutional institutions, division in society, spread of hatred, farmers' issues, and economic condition.
Hari Singh Chib appealed to the people to give a grand farewell to the Bharat Jodo Yatra that will reach Jammu on January 22, 2023. He urged party workers as well as people to make Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra a grand success in Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent among those who participated in the awareness campaign include Parshotam Singh President Block Congress Committee Bhalwal, Som Nath Sharma President Block Congress Committee Pata Paloura, Sunny Jatt District President Youth Congress Jammu Rural, Thoru Ram, Suram Singh Nambardar, Kuldeep Kumar, Anchal Singh, Devi Ditta, Jyoti Ram, Aman Singh, Amit Verma, Mong Singh and others.
