Sympathisers won't condemn militants, Pakistan: Raman Suri
Cowards will be hunted down
1/3/2023 9:37:27 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 3: Condemning certain politicians for not uttering a word against militants or their sympathisers or even Pakistan for two Rajouri attacks, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that in one voice, these leaders are scaring people by saying that militancy has spread to Jammu too, but are silent in taking its perpetrators head on. This, he said, speaks of double standards of these politicians who have been keeping the pot boiling to grind their axe in Jammu and Kashmir.
Raman Suri said, it's very sad, shocking and condemnable that within hours of the killings of four civilians in Upper Dhangri of Rajouri, militants triggered a blast, killing two cousins, both minors. Earlier, four civilians were killed when militants opened fire in their village. These incidents speak of cowardice act of militants who are targeting common people to spread terror. These stray incidents might shake a few civilians but vigilant soldiers are going to hunt the militants down very soon.
Raman Suri said, there are people who maintained criminal silence over gunning down of four militants at Sidhra and didn't speak a word against militants who attacked Rajouri. This makes it evident that such persons are sympathisers of militants and maintain criminal silence even at security forces' achievements or gory incidents like Rajouri. They stand exposed and won't be able to sustain their activities for longer periods, he asserted.
Raman Suri said, today only a handful of militants are against the Indian state. This holds no waters for the simple reason that India is dealing with enemy nations, infiltrators and those insiders who are trying to undermine our potential, and in doing so every threat is being pushed away or taken care of ably. Such incidents are not going to deter our security forces from hunting down the last militant on this soil and making peace dawn here. This, he said, is a resolve and is on the verge of completion.
The BJP leader said, the abrogation of Article 370 is not being digested by a few politicians, who are trying to threaten or scare people of Jammu and Kashmir by issuing vague yet calculated statements. Such tactics or white collar militancy won't sustain as their nefarious designs have been exposed and agencies meant for flushing out militancy completely are on the job and succeeding ably.
