Jammu, Jan 3: Dr Sudhaa Sharma, Former Professor Gynae & Obst. GMC, Jammu has been elected as Vice President IMS (Indian Menopause Society) for the year 2024-2025 as per the election results declared by President IMS, Dr Shobna Mohandas. Vice President is an important post after President in running all the affairs of IMS at National level.
Dr Sudhaa, Senior Consultant Madaan Hospital Jammu was Secretary General IMS for the year 2021--22 & conducted record number of National CME's during her tenure, helped in holding four Zonal & one National Conference, was actively involved in formulating guidelines for award of FIMS, besides bringing out news letters regularly highlighting activities of IMS. Dr Sudhaa, Prof. Indian Medical Association was awarded Fellowship of IMS (FIMS) for her meritorious academic biodata & immense contributions for the growth of IMS at national & local level for more than two decades She has been a resource faculty in formulating various National Guidelines for the management of different aspects of Menopause & osteoporosis. She has been involved in various research projects of IMS as Principal Investigator from Jammu. She remained as Editor- in- chief of JMH, Journal Miidlife Health ( Pub Med Indexed), an official Journal of IMS. She is currently Editor- in -General of JK Science Journal. She has been a guest speaker in various National, International & Zonal conferences for nearly 2 decades. She has 70 scientific publications, 4 book chapters & edited one book on Osteoprosis ( an official publication of IMS). |
