CPO presides over public outreach camp at block Panjgrain

RAJOURI, Jan 4: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, the Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid today chaired a public grievances redressal camp as a part of weekly Block Diwas at block Panjgrain.
At the Block Diwas, the public and its representatives apprised the CPO about a number of issues and demands of their areas including those pertaining to macadamisation of roads, health services, upgradation of schools, paucity of staff and others.
The Chief Planning Officer gave a patient hearing to the issues projected by the public during the event and assured them that the demands raised shall be fulfilled in a time bound manner.
Addressing the event, the Chief Planning Officer said that the Block Diwas ensures doorstep public service delivery and redressal of the genuine grievances of the common man.
Listing various initiatives taken by the District Administration for the welfare of the general public, he said that we are working on a multi pronged strategy for the holistic development of all the areas of the district and every sector is being pushed to achieve the desired results on the ground.
Highlighting various Government schemes and programs, he called upon stakeholder departments to synergise their efforts for achieving cent percent saturation of the Government schemes and effective delivery of Government services at the doorsteps of the general public.
The Chief Planning Officer also asked the officers to maintain close coordination with Public representatives to alleviate the sufferings of the people in a time bound manner.
While addressing the people's issues raised during the public outreach camp, he assured that appropriate measures would be taken to redress their genuine concerns in a time bound manner.
Among the others present during the event were Assistant Commissioner Development, Vijay Kumar; DIO, Narinder Kumar; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone; ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander; BDO Rajouri, Chander Kant Bhagat and others.
