DC presides over public outreach programme at Pouni

REASI, Jan 4: The District Administration Reasi today hosted Block Diwas proceedings here at village Saloon of Block Pouni. Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal along with a team of officers listened and resolved issues of the people.
During weekly Block Diwas, PRIs and general public of the area put forth their demands seeking construction of 600 mtr road from Link Road to starting point of Paragliding, provision of Electricity Poles and Water Pipes, opening of Veterinary Hospital, adequate teaching staff in Govt High School Saloon, Land Compensation for acquired land, construction of Kool at Village Dhanwa and posting of staff at local Sub Centre.
PRIs as well as the general public also hailed the efforts of district administration for organising awareness camps for issuing inheritance mutations.
DC Reasi, while addressing the projected issues, asked the departments to focus on effective implementation of Central Sponsored Schemes and timely completion of UT Capex budget works to benefit the general public. The DC passed on the spot directions to the concerned departments to ensure the redressal of the issues highlighted by people on priority and in a time bound manner. The Chief Education Officer was asked to rationalise the staff in all the schools of Block Pouni, while XEN PDD was directed to electrify the left over household as well as areas of the block.
The DC also called upon the Jal Shakti Department to gear up to complete all New and old water lifting as well as irrigation schemes in stipulated time.
Besides these, Block Diwas was attended by BDC Chairperson, Pawan Sharma; ADDC Jyoti Salathia; ACD Anirudh Rai, CMO, CAHO, CEO, Tehsildar Pouni, BDO and other district and sectoral officers.
