Congress playing 'dirty' politics over deaths of people: Kavinder
1/4/2023 10:44:52 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 4: Coming down heavily against a section of Congress leaders who alleged that administration not allowed them to visit terror-ridden Dhangri village, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that the oldest party of the country is playing 'filthy' politics over the deaths of people, which ultimately will prove counterproductive as people will teach them a lesson for spreading this fallacy.
Kavinder in a statement issued to media on Wednesday said that the political leadership belonging to all the outfits including the Congress party has visited Dhangri village in Rajouri but there is a flock of certain leaders belonging to Congress party who are habitual of making mountain out of molehill and are creating drama of a non-issue. He said that Congress leadership is so brazen that for petty political gains it could stoop so low and concoct stories to mislead the public. "The public today is well aware and knows the tantrums of the political parties which never miss a chance to fool them for getting political mileage", he said and claimed that people will give a befitting rejoinder to the Congress leadership at the right time because today is not the time to show mirror to this unprincipled party which not even bothered to have behaved sensibly during the crucial hour of distress being faced by Rajouri terror victims.
Meanwhile, Kavinder met with a delegation of local residents who highlighted their issues.
Kavinder after giving a patient hearing, assured the members of the visiting delegation that their problems will be mitigated at the earliest as all the issues discussed in the meeting were already in the priority list and it is merely a matter of few days when all these things will be taken up by the concerned authorities.
