DDC conducts whirlwind tour of Kotranka sub division

RAJOURI, Jan 7: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, on Saturday conducted an extensive tour of the Koreranka subdivision and inspected the progress of various developmental projects in the area.
He urged the concerned officers to expedite the progress and ensure that the projects are completed within the set timelines, while also emphasizing the importance of quality work.
Later, the DDC also held a public outreach camp, and listened to public issues.
Over 200 people from rural and remote areas participated in the camp with their representatives to discuss problems faced by them pertaining to water, road connectivity and Power.
All the Sarpanchs, Panchs of the Sub Division Kotranka attended the outreach camp.
Suggestions including strengthening of checkpoints; establishing police posts in interior villages, imparting VDGs training in the use of automatic weapons to strengthen the VDCs, were projected by the Sarpanchs and locals.
The DDC gave a patient hearing and assured the public that appropriate steps would be taken to maintain peace and tranquility in the district.
He reiterated that the Civil and Police administration are committed to ensuring peace and overall development in the region.
