Chib criticizes Tara Chand, Ors
1/7/2023 11:28:47 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 7: R S Chib, General Secretary, Democratic Azad Party (DAP) has strongly criticized the claims that Tara Chand and his ilk have rejoined its parent organization Congress without realizing their duplicity.
Having Been ousted from DAP for their disloyalty, Tara Chand and few others had no choice except to seek political shelter in any organization and they preferred Congress, from which more than seventy per cent leaders and activists had already joined DAP, led by Ghulam Nabi Azad. Mr. Chib further said that Congress, which has become bankrupt in Jammu & Kashmir, adopted pressure tactics to bring people from other groups/parties including some Panches and Sarpanches to give an impression that they were not happy with policies and programmes of DAP. Claims of Tara Chand are without any substance as only two of them already expelled from the DAP had rejoined Congress, while others belonged to other political outfits. Mr. Chib said that the claims of Congress are totally absurd that more and more people are joining Congress Party. For last two days said Mr. Chib, that an exodus from J&K Congress Party to DAP led by Ghulam Nabi Azad continues in big way. Thousands of leaders consisting of elected DDC Members, Distt. And Block office bearers, sarpanchs, panchs and Youth Congress Leaders, have joined the DAP, today in presence of Senior Party leaders of DAP.
Mr. Chib said Congress Party is shattered through the country due to policies adopted by its Top leadership and that is why its numbers dwindled from over 400 MPs to only over 50 MPs in LOK-SABHA now.
