| Police bust gang of vehicle lifters, recover 6 bikes | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 9: Police have busted a gang involved in lifting two wheelers and have recovered six stolen bikes from their possession.
According to the details available with Early Times on 01-01-2023, a written complaint was lodged at PP Digiana jammu by Rakesh Kumar s/o Hem Raj R/o Gangyal Jammu, pertaining to his stolen splendor- pro bike bearing registration No. JK02BM 5440 from out side the park Subash Nagar Jammu. On the receipt of this information, a Case FIR No. 01/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar and investigation started. During the investigation ,two suspects .Sunil Choudhary S/o Chuni Lal R/o Hansa R.S Pura Jammu and Deepak Mahotra S/o Rashpal Singh R/o H.No.66 Subash Nagar Digiana was arrested and during sustained questioning they confessed their involvement in the above mentioned case. On the disclosure of above mentioned accused persons below mentioned stolen bikes were recovered. Motor cycle splendor pro black colour. Motor cycle super splendor black colour, Chasis No. JA05EGJ9C04613, Engine No. MBLJAR035J9C04566, 5. Motor cycle Hero Honda Passion red and black colour, Chassis No. 05M09C52686, Engine No. 05M08M38462, Motor cycle FZ Green ColourChasis No. ME121C0J1E2026529 Engine No. 21CJ026505. The overall investigation is going under the guidance of SHO Gandhi Nagar Insp Pankaj Sharma . The arrest and recovery took place under the supervision of SDPO South Jammu Sachit Sharma and SP South Jammu Mamta Sharma . Further investigation of the case is going on. |
