Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 10: Former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vikram Randhawa said that the motto of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is to take the schemes of the Modi led Government at the doorstep of the people.
He stated this while interacting with the people at Village Hakkal of RS Pura Jammu South Assembly segment during recently launched Public Outreach programme.
On the occasion, the people apprised the visiting leader about various development works to be carried out in their area.
Former Legislator gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the people and assured them to take up the same with the concerned authorities for early redressal.
He also inspected some of the development works in the area and expressed his satisfaction of the material being used in the construction works.
Former legislator informed the people that various flagship schemes were launched by the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi including Ayushman Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, etc for the benefit of the common masses.
Former Legislator while referring to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Jammu and Kashmir said that while the economically marginallised segments of the society have been brought under Ayushman Bharat scheme as part of health for all across the country, it has been made applicable as Ayushman Sehat in the Union Territory with benefits of Rs 5 lakh medical cover to every family without any economic slab.
"Central Government is providing Rs 6000 per year to a farmer family, which the successive Governments in the Centre failed during their tenures", he said, adding that Prime Minister realised the problems of the farmers and initiated Prahan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi.

Farmers are the back bone of a country and their efforts are being hailed as they work towards the country to make it hunger free, Randhawa said and applauded the Prime Minister for launching Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi for the benefit of the farmers.
