| Fida Ali Bereaved | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, DEC 29: Safdar Ali Shawl, father of Mr. Fida Ali, Deputy Director of Information, today passed away at his residence at Hakeem Mohalla, Bagwanpora, Lal Bazar , Srinagar. He was 100.
Mr. Shawl, a prominent social worker and religious scholar was Hafiz Quram and Zakir Ahlibait. He was ailing for last few months and breathed his lost on Monday morning.
Hir Chahrum would be held at his ancestral graveyard at Bagwanpora, Lal Bazar, Srinagar on Wednesday, 31st December 2008.
Meanwhile, the officers and officials of Information Department have condoled the death of Safdar Ali Shawl. They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved. A condolence meeting was held in the Directorate of Information at Jammu.
Condolence meeting were also held at Joint Directorate Offices at Jammu and Srinagar besides, at all District Information Centres. |
