CBC field office organizes drawing competition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

DODA, Jan 10: As part of an ongoing public awareness campaign initiated in various districts by the Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Field office Doda organized a special interactive programme (Drawing competition) at Ekta Mahila Mandal Educational Trust. Near sports Stadium Dessa road, in Doda district.
The programme was organized under the chairmanship of Zahida Begum Chairman Ekta Mahila Mandal Educational Trust. Doda whereas Tahir Jameel and Athar Bilal trustees of Ekat Mahila Mandal trust were also present in the programme. Drawing competition was carried out to acquaint masses about aspects of Azadi KA Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM).
In order to mobilize the masses a pre publicity event drawing competition was organized in which about 30 students from different educational institutions of Doda participated and Miss Muqaddas D/o Rehamtullah Zargar, Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu stood first, Miss Huriya Akhter D/o Ashiq Hussain, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences Zakura srinagar stood second, Liza Rabanie D/o Abid Saleem Bhatt, Kids Kingdom School Doda stood third whereas Adeena Imtiyaz D/o Imtiyaz Ahmed, Aier Public School Doda. bagged the 4th position.
During the programme Tahir Jameel trustee (EMMET) said that drawing competition is organized for paying tribute to Indian struggle for freedom and its freedom fighter who laid down their life for our freedom, especially this Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is for unspoken and unsung heroes of freedom movement whom our young generation is forgetting or they are not recognized in history. Such initiatives by the Central Bureau of Communication are playing a vital role in connecting youth with the history of Indian Freedom Struggle and demand more such programmes in far and flung areas of Doda District also.
Sunil Kumar I/c CBC Field Office Rajouri, in his welcome speech gave a brief description and detailed information regarding DD. Swaraj and Azadi quest including AKAM to the audience and said Field offices of Central Bureau of Communication through its Field Offices reaches out to the far flung, isolated and media shadow areas to spread awareness regarding Centrally sponsored Schemes of Government of India through various means of Information, Educational and communication (IEC) activities in coordination with different implementing agencies of state and district administration.
Vikram Uppal In charge, CBC, Field Office, Doda also interacted with the audience and present vote of thanks to the students, trustees & teachers from Various Educational Institutions of Doda and requested them all to pay visit and spread the message regarding next day programme i.e. on 11.01.2023 at same venue, 11 am onwards, so that everybody could participate and be part of celebration "75 years of Indian Independence" Azaki Ka Amrit Mahotsav. In order to make the event a success.
