Jammu, Jan 10: Shere-Kashmir sports club, Jammu organized an awareness Camp today at Gujar Nagar and Bahu Fort, Jammu in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir AIDS Control Society Many people, especially youth in the age group of (18-35) years participated in the camp the theme of the camp was awareness generation about HIV AIDS, Voluntary Blood Donation and Drug de-addiction. The camp was inaugurated by Aman Gupta, resource person.
The resource person emphasized upon the youth to strictly follow the guidelines released by National AIDS Control Organization and Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society for the efficient prevention, Treatment and Control of HIVIAIDS, He advised the youth to refrain from the Drug abuse and injected drugs. The topology of High risk groups in the Communities was discussed in the Camp.
The other Speakers in the Camp stressed upon the youth to get involved in voluntary Blood donation. Those who attended the camp included Mohd Saqib, Gowhar Maqbool, Saleem, Mohd Ramzan, Vinod Kumar, Om Prakash, Rizwan, Tahir Sheikh, Lliyas Sheikh, Reyaz, Aadil, Tony, Manmeet Singh, Rocky, Sunil Sharma etc. |
