JAMMU, Jan 11: Around 4000 people are expected to participate in a mini marathon to be organised by the Indian Army on January 22 to mark Republic Day celebrations.
Defence spokesman here on Wednesday said that Indian Army will be organising a Mini-Marathon on Jan 22 as part of Republic Day celebrations in Jammu.
''The event is likely to witness a mega participation of approximately 4000 participants from all walks of life. The venue for the event is Jammu University," he added.
He said that Mini-Marathon will be on a "No-Cost" basis in which participants will register free of cost.
"The Mini-Marathon will be bringing the people from all age groups including dignitaries from civil administration and a few celebrities together to celebrate Republic Day," said the Spokesman. |
