Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 12: Taking serious note of the objectionable remarks made by Bihar Education Minister, Prof Chandrashekhar on the Holy Books Ramcharitmanas and Manusmriti, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta demanded immediate ouster of the man from Bihar Cabinet.
While speaking on the sidelines of a programme in Jammu, the BJP stalwart leader said that the spiteful remarks by the person of a stature of education minister is hurtful and unacceptable. Demanding unconditional apology from the Bihar Minister over his controversial uttering, the senior BJP functionary said that such ugly episodes are the result of misrepresentation of history by the dispensations in the past as they taught selective parts of the past to the people glorifying certain segments and maligning the others in an attempt to sway the population towards one ideology and disconnect it from the other, which actually is the right one.
Kavinder demanded that this wrong should be rectified as soon as possible or else things can go berserk in the country and the unfortunate episodes like the one surfaced by the remarks of Bihar Minister will tend to happen again and again.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the indecent and abhor-ridden remarks by the Bihar Education Minister tells the sordid tale of the country which has been forced to believe the false narratives under a deep rooted conspiracy by the forces inimical to the pristine glory of India's past. He said that the government should take emergent steps to adopt the path through which people of the country be taught the right perspective and true history to get them out of the shell which is full of concocted facts and false narratives to denigrate the population gradually.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta today participated in a comedy programme 'Hasi Ke Do Pal' organized by Gold Events at Teachers Bhawan Jammu in which famous comedian Padam Shri Surendra Sharma has enthralled the audience their comedy jokes. He also complemented the organizer for organizing such a wonderful show in the City of Temples.
