Keshav pays tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his 160th Birth Anniversary

Jammu, Jan 12: To commemorate the 160th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda,Today Chairman Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra organizes Adhaar Enrollment camp for Divyangs ( Physically & Mentally Challenged) Childrens suffering from disabilities including Mental retardation,Cerebral palsy, hearing impairment etc.
The Camp was organized in collaboration with Adhaar Sewa Kendra Jammu & District Child Protection Unit Jammu.
It was organized at Muskan Home for Mentally Challenged Children (Under Mission Vatsalya Social Welfare Department Jammu) . The camp was organize in a motive to enroll the Divyangs in Adhaar, making their Identity card as Adhaar Card is required to enroll in any scheme also for the issuance of Medical Certificate so bcoz of not being enrolled in Adhaar they can’t take benefit of several Govt Sponsored Schemes. More than 19 Divyang’s were enrolled in Adhaar during the camp.
Speaking on the Occasion Keshav Chopra said that Swami Vivekananda always linked service of mankind with service of God. He was a iconic Personality,a spiritual guru, His life and teachings always inspire us to work for needy sections and organizing Adhaar Camp for Divyang’s children’s on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is also celebrated as National Youth Day is a real tribute to him.
Keshav chopra also distributes snacks,Juices among the Children’s and said that Samvedna Society is always ready to work for the needy sections of the society.
Aarti Choudhary District Child Protection unit officer and Bansi Lal Adminstrator of the Muskan Home thanked Chairman Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra for organizing Adhaar Enrollment camp for the Divyangs at their doorstep so that they should not go outside in this extremely cold weather.
Pritam Dass Accountant, Rajni Sharma warden and others were also present during the camp.
